Welcome to Keane for Fitness

I am a fully qualified fitness instructor based in the Dun Laoghaire area organising running groups for people of all abilities. I have Beginner Running Courses for those who have never run before or who have had a long break from it. For those who are already runners but would like some company when running or to improve their running distance and consistency I have a group that meet weekly to run together. Regardless of your running goals, I will be there to offer support & guidance and of course the group itself is essential for the chats & encouragement!

Keane for Fitness group at the Aware 2019 runWe had our now annual trot in the Phoenix Park for the Aware Christmas Run on 14th December. It was a chilly but bright morning and as usual the atmosphere was super. It was a lovely route with music and lots of encouragement along the way. To top it off we are so well looked after once we were over the finishing line with chocolate, sandwiches, sweets and hot chocolate for everyone!

Beginners Running Course

Beginners Running Course starting 3rd February 2020. 

This course starts slowly and builds gradually to get you from 0 to 5k in 10 weeks. We meet every Monday evening and progress a little further each week. Many people have completed this programme with me, completing their 5k Park Run to finish and have enjoyed the journey! Check out the Gallery for some pictures of previous courses. The cost is €80 including t-shirt so if you would like to book a place, get in touch as places are limited.

This morning I did my first Parkrun. Over the last 7 weeks I've been doing a 'Couch to 5K' with Keane For Fitness. Week 1 back on Monday April 27th was to jog for 1 min.
